Exhibition in Frankfurt on the Main

Recommended reading: The Frankfurter Rundschau of January 14, 2022, refers to the fate of Ernst Meissinger in connection with the special exhibition "Frankfurt under National Socialism". Meissinger was a member of the Frankfurt on the Main section of the German and Austrian Alpine Club, but was expelled in 1935 because of his Jewish mother.

The past is not over--the Spurensuche (tracing) continues

An article in the Frankfurt on the Main section magazine "MainBERG" in issue 3 of 2021 (p. 18-19) describes the work of the "Spurensuche" (tracing) team: research into the biographies of persecuted Jewish Section members, as well as the members of the Executive Board who were active at the time before and after January 1933, is progressing. More and more details are coming to light.
